Cheerleading is an exciting and challenging sport that involves music, dance, jumps, tumble and stunts for males & females. Athletes will develop skills such as leadership and teamwork which will benefit them in all areas of their life.
Visual Energy provides our students opportunities to compete at Local, National & International events to represent their State & Country.
Dance (Hip Hop, Pom, Jazz & Lyrical)
Executions of contemporary style, hip-hop feel uniformity, high energy and creativity. Routines emphasise the street style movements with an emphasis on execution, style, creativity, body isolations and control, rhythm, uniformity and musical interpretation. Additional focus on athletic incorporations such as jumps, jump variations, combo jumps and other tricks may also be included into these types of routines.
Performed to high-energy music, the aim is to safely execute as many stunts as possible in 60 seconds.
Kids Fitness Classes
A multi-movement program where children learn to move and move to learn. It is held in a fun, and safe environment where a child and their Carer can learn and play together, stimulating your child’s mind and body. This is for age’s 12 months – 2yrs.
Our main focus at this level is to create a developmental environment for young children who would like to learn more about movement to music & cheerleading. This is for age's 2yrs – 4yrs. The children are directed solely by the instructor, but carers must be present. This program can provide members with the opportunity to participate in competitions as an exhibition team.
Customised school or private workshops to introduce the sport of cheerleading.
Tumbling lessons are an excellent way to develop strength, flexibility, discipline and teamwork while having fun and improving your kinesthetic senses. It assists athletes to building confidence, co-ordination and fitness skills, which is why we encourage all our cheer athletes to attend a tumble class. You can join tumble as your only program or as an additional program.
Our tumble programs start from 2yrs of age in our PreSchool Tumble class to adults in Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 and we also have private sessions available.
These are available to all athletes based on coach availability. Private lessons are offered to individuals, or groups of 2 with 1 dedicated coach. These sessions enable the athlete to work on tumbling, flexibility and strength. Due to timetabling private lessons may be in a room while other group tumbling is in session, however your coach is dedicated to you or your group personally and will have full use of all the facility and equipment.
Doubles dance can be performed in various styles such as Jazz, Hip Hop or Pom. These routines may include dance lifts or connected lines within routine, mirror image and tight team work. Comparable to “So You Think You Can Dance” duo routines.
"Let's give a cheer, Your child is having a birthday party!" We will deliver a workshop to your guests teaching them a cheerleading routine with stunts and pom poms, play games and overall, have fun. See also Parties for more information.
This fitness class brings together a combination of boxing and circuit training. 1 on 1 or group sessions are available.
